"Chocolate or Vanilla, Life is All About Choices is a very inspiring book!" - Jack Canfield
Author's Note:
At 97 pages, for some, this book may be a quick read and has had a profound impact on many people. This book may change the way you think about life. Gertrude N. (Africa) It all sounds like an African story. What happened to you is very common here only that mothers rarely become so hard to their children the way yours was! But the reason was clear. With your father it was very hurting in all circles. Thanks for being bold enough to share your not so sweet life experiences. We thought that such doesn't exist in such countries but the book is revealing a lot. I am continuing to the read the book and I will write down my lessons from it. God bless. Glam Girl It wasn't just an amazing story of how far one woman has come on her life's journey so far, but an empowering message for all women! "Powerful message in a little book." By G. L. Jackson "One can write a lot of platitudes about 'taking the high road' or 'keeping your chin up' but to see someone who's been through *so much* and actually holds to those ideals can only make the rest of us say, "I really don't have it that bad" and "if she can do it, I can". I think that's just the point the author is making. That's certainly what I take away from it." Inner Insight!, By Leanna This book gave me insight into the human journey, the challenges, overcoming any negative experiences by setting your personal worth. Nancy has a way with sharing "all of herself", for the betterment of the reader. Her story is one of finding the Inner Strength, and moving into Positive growth, so one can find where they are supposed to be on their own journey and path. You are an inspiration to us all! ♥ By Eve I read your beautiful little book 'Chocolate or Vanilla' and I am so impressed with your amazing courage and determination to transform trauma into wisdom and strength. You have molded your pain into loving energy which you selflessly and enthusiastically share with others. You are my hero : ) |
I Love My Life!
I was born the oldest of 5 children, our mother consistently told us were “nothing” and I absolutely believed I was nothing. My daily companions were Fear and Abuse… until the day I discovered that I have an Inner Strength! All women have an Inner Strength; they simply need to understand how to tap into it. As a student and teacher of the Martial Arts, I utilize the philosophies of the Martial Arts to enable women to tap into their Inner Strength and then step into their power. Once I learned how to tap into mine, from that day forward, I knew that it wasn’t what happened to me that mattered, but what I did with what happened to me. This led me to write my first book, titled Chocolate or Vanilla, Life Is All About Choices, and today, I motivate and inspire women, globally. Women from California to Africa who have read my book have found a way to tap into their Inner Strength. How would your life change if something in my book were able to empower you to discover your Inner Strength? Whether I am standing in front of a group as a motivational speaker or working one-on-one with a coaching client, I can honestly say, “I LOVE MY LIFE!” Whether you hire me to speak to your group or work with me through coaching sessions, I will contribute my strength until I hear you say, “I LOVE MY LIFE!” Contrary to belief, size doesn't always matter. This tiny book with the biggest heart and message of endurance and one spectacular survival story can inspire you no matter your situation.
Is there anyone among us, even the most fortunate, who have not experienced some type of pain, betrayal or issues of less significance to others but important to us? This book will appeal to anyone who, frankly, is alive. Yes, Nancy has been through the most abusive and hurting past but her heroism, and the courage it took to not only turn it around but soar higher than one could ever imagine makes us motivated to get on with it. With this book she inspires the rest of us to see our lives in another way, whatever our circumstance. I read "Chocolate or Vanilla-Life is About Choices" in one sitting as it is so honest and a very easy read. One cannot wait to find out how she will bring about a change. The interesting thing is I just met Nancy Mueller at a publishing workshop and would have never guessed that this charming, generous natured and utterly beautiful (sky blue eyes) had endured such hardship. That is the point. Her life, with the book and today in general, is about bringing us all into the most productive, joyful survival mode. Who knew this small gift could do so much. I only bought it because I thought it was about ice cream! By ~ Jan Marshall, author of "Dancin, Schmancin with the Scars: Finding the Humor No Matter What! |
